Trade, fleet and specification

Buying one two-post lift for a home garage and equipping six bays for a shop are different transactions. These are the things trade buyers ask us that a home buyer usually does not.

Certification documentation

If your insurer, your landlord or your state references the ALI standard, you need the certificate for the specific model and capacity, not a brand-level assurance. Tell us at enquiry stage and we confirm what exists before you specify anything. Where a model is not certified, we say so plainly. See ALI certification.

Multi-bay quoting

Freight economics change substantially when several lifts move on one consignment rather than as separate LTL shipments. If you are equipping bays over the course of a year rather than all at once, say so — the sensible answer may be to schedule deliveries rather than order piecemeal.

Installation and commissioning

We do not install. What we will do is tell you honestly what a given model needs: the concrete specification, the ceiling height, the power supply, and whether the manufacturer requires or recommends a trained installer. Coordinating that with your own contractor is normally cheaper and faster than a national install service.

Power

Single-phase 208-230V is the usual requirement above about 9,000 lb and it is not a normal domestic garage circuit. Three-phase supply changes which models are viable options. Confirm your supply before you shortlist — it is a genuine constraint, not a detail to sort out later.

Where we are

We are agreeing dealer terms and are not quoting firm lead times. What we can do now is price against the current market, confirm which certification and specification documents exist for a given model, and tell you honestly when we expect to be able to fulfil.
